Nurture is a collection of the plants and flowers I’ve grown over the years—

—a visual record of seasons passing and the quiet joy of tending to something over time. Each one is distinct, almost like a familiar friend, bringing its own color, beauty, and rhythm to the garden. Watching them grow, change, and bloom has been a constant source of inspiration, a reminder of how nature moves at its own steady, beautiful pace.

Lilies

This lily, with its warm gradient of burnt orange and deep rose hues, opens in a perfect display of delicate speckles and soft textures. Its petals stretch outward, revealing dark anthers dusted with pollen, standing in contrast against the smooth, radiant bloom. A moment of natural artistry, nurtured by time, soil, and light.

Water Lily

This deep magenta water lily, planted in my backyard fish pond, spreads its petals across the water, creating a striking contrast against the floating green lily pads. With its rich color and delicate structure, it adds a natural focal point to the pond, thriving in the calm, reflective surface.

Zinnias

These bright zinnias, grown in my backyard, bring a burst of color with their bold orange and pink petals. Paired with vibrant celosia, they thrive in the summer heat, adding texture and energy to the garden. Easy to grow and long-lasting, they attract pollinators while creating a lively and ever-changing display.

Backyard Harvest

These heirloom tomatoes and blackberries, grown in my backyard, are a product of patience and care. The vine-ripened tomatoes started as vibrant green clusters before deepening into rich red, their unique shapes reflecting their heirloom variety. Nearby, plump blackberries ripened under the sun, transforming from bright red to glossy black. Growing these has been a rewarding process, bringing fresh, homegrown flavors straight from the garden to the table.

Coneflowers / Echinacea

These homegrown coneflowers bring a mix of colors and pollinators to the garden. The white coneflower, delicate yet bold, provides a striking contrast against the greenery, attracting butterflies to its raised center. Nearby, the fiery red-orange coneflower stands out with its warm, sunset-like hues, adding depth and vibrancy to the space. Hardy and long-blooming, these flowers thrive through the summer, bringing movement, color, and life to the garden.
